Master J.H. Pak

Born in Seoul, S. Korea in 1952,  Master Jang H. Pak  began his martial arts training at the age of 10.  By the age of 13, he received his First Degree Black Belt.
 
After immigrating to the United States in the early '70's, Master Pak  served as an instructor for the U.S. Army 25th Infantry Division in Hawai'i.  He then moved to New York for a brief time, and finally settled in Houston, TX in 1980. While there, he produced 5 Black belt students who have represented the United States National Tae Kwon Do Team, two of whom won gold medals in the Olympic Games.
 
After sharing his knowledge in Houston, Master Pak moved to Austin and opened the first United Martial Arts do jang.  A second do jang was opened a few years later in Leander, TX, by one of Master Pak's senior black belt students and with Master Pak's guidance. 
 
Master Pak currently holds the rank of 8th Dan Tae Kwon Do, 7th Dan Hapkido, and is well-versed in Kum Do (sword), Modern Arnis and other weapons. He is a Certified Martial Arts Instructor, and as a competitor he is a champion in both form and fighting competitions.
